[Case Study] Puppy Love

Wakko again. In this week I begin a new game, and this new one have something a little bit different: it´s in Unity.

To begin make games in Unity, I study a little about it, see the frameworks, how it works… and begin to make a new one game.

It´s a based in a old one, a special stage from Earthworm Jim called Puppy Love.

Studing this special stage, I check some behaviors, and begin developing the stage. I think in this case, the Level Designer made the “dog waves” manually. In my case, I think it´s better make rules in the code.

Well… one day of development (exactly yesterday) give me this results:

Now I have some new features to do (sunday… I´ll wait for you):

- Make a inteligent wave;
- Limit the number of balls in the scene
- Determine max number distance (based on char, balls and time);
- Make the last ball dispatch new wave;

Many games for this year… many thinks to learn.

[Alternativa 3D 8 Project] – Sonhos da Dupla Gre-Nal

Today I finish one experiment here, and I wanna share with you. It´s about my new work, Sonhos da Dupla GreNal (Dreams of GreNal Pair). It´s a hotsite, and users can send messages and images with your expectations of your favorite football team in 2012.

[Facebook Project] Natalize-se

Merry Christmas for everyone. I´m at work, and today I decide study Unity, but my post is not about it. It´s about a little app that I work for Zero Hora.

Called Natalize-se (in english is something like Christmalize yourself) it´s a simple app, where the user can edit a image for the christmas. Simple and addictive, this kinda of application just make me think about something interesting, but I´ll philosophize about it in another post.

Cue Points, Markers, and After Effects Script

Quicky post, maybe my acknowledge in AE are low, but that´s how I resolve it.

Problem: get Cue Points from Markers. These Markers are generated by Tracker Motions.
I use the Tracker Motions to generate the Markers, them I use the Markers in Flash to get parameters.

[Game Project] Rumo à Universidade

Hi, Wakko here!

Today I have a new project to post… actually… this game was released two weeks ago, but now he have two levels (the third will be released in 8/12/2011).

This game was created to clickVestibular, a section of the journal Zero Hora. The game is basically an plataform game, where the player have levels based on the subjects of the vestibular in Brazil. The player also awnser some questions in the game.
